  I would like to thank Joe for the excellent service I received when having my engagement ring repaired. Joe demonstrated real knowledge and expertise in assessing the damage to the claw after the diamond had fallen out and advising on the best way forward. He took the time to listen carefully to what was important to us which was to keep the original ring and have the diamond securely reset so that it would not fall out again. Joe clearly explained what Work was required set out a realistic timeline and kept to this throughout the process. He also contacted us promptly when the ring was ready for collection. I’m delighted with the result - my engagement ring now looks as good as new. Joe thank you for such a professional and reassurance service. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Joe’s services again. Highly recommended.

  Absolutely shocking service and completely unprofessional behaviour. I took a pair of earrings and a bracelet to this jewellery workshop and clearly explained the work I wanted done. I was told to come and collect any time after 2pm. I arrived at around 2:40pm and was first told 20 minutes. I came back and was then told another 30 minutes. I ended up waiting well over an hour in total. When they finally brought the items out, the bracelet wasn’t polished properly and had to be done again. The earrings were done incorrectly, not as requested. When I pointed this out, instead of taking responsibility, the sons started saying we made the mistake and that we told them to do it that way, which was completely untrue. Things then escalated badly. One of the sons had an outburst, shouting things like “I’m tired of this” and calling us liars, slamming doors and storming out of the workshop. This happened in front of customers and was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Only after speaking directly to the father was there any attempt at calm discussion, but by that point the damage was done. Poor workmanship, terrible time management, zero accountability, and aggressive behaviour towards customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid.
